Treasurer- Barb Friesenhahn
Barbara has been horse oriented her entire life. She started with a pinto pony when she was a toddler. From there it went to a half-Arabian, a Quarter Horse, a mustang, and finally to Morgan horses which she and her family raise, train, and enjoy.
Being a graduate from Baylor University with a major in Finance and minor in Accounting, she worked as Business Manager for public schools, as Finance Director for the non-profit, Family Hospice, in Illinois and has been the Accounting Manager for Nolato-GW Plastics in San Antonio since 2006.
She was one of the founding members of the Heart of Texas Morgan Horse Club (HOTMHC) in 1992 and was their Treasurer for most of the time the club was active. She rode her palomino Morgan, “Rocky”, in the shiny silver saddle grand entry for the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo Performances with the Bexar County Palomino Patrol and Drill Team and served as Secretary on that board for quite a few years.
Barbara’s love for horses has shown throughout her life and her heart for children abounds.
